Thursday Ladies Bible Class normally meets in the Fellowship Hall at 9:30 am to 11 am.

Our study this Fall will be video and discussion of Kristi McLelland’s Luke in the Land–Walking with Jesus in His First-Century World.)

Join others in the Church Library for a quiet time of prayer for our nation, state, and city. This will take place each Sunday, starting October 6th through November 10th, after Bible class. All who would like to join are encouraged to do so from approximately 11:40 to 12:00. Please meditate on Jeremiah 29:7 and 1 Timothy 2:1-4.

McCall’s Haunted Farm

It’s already that time of year again. The youth and family ministry is hosting a trip out to McCall’s Haunted Farm.

When: Friday, October 18th, from 5:30pm to 10:30pm.
Where: McCall’s Farm
Cost: $25 for a haunt ticket, and $10 for a general ticket.
Food: Hotdogs/chips/marshmallows (included with ticket).

We have a campfire reserved. If you do not want to see anything scary, hang out with us at the campfire and it will feel like camping. If you want a tame spooky experience, venture into the “town” and see what attractions and actors they have. If you want the full haunted experience, go on the haunts.

Food is provided. We are having hotdogs, chips, drinks, marshmallows and more. You are also welcomed to go into “town” and buy any of the food they have there.

Bring your lawn chair and hang out for an evening around the campfire with some spooky fun!

Fernando De Santiago has volunteered to captain a team for the fall league at Top Golf. There are spots for up to six golfers on a team, and we should have enough for two teams. If you are willing to be a team captain, please let us know. We need at least one more team captain!

Participants must be 18 or older to play.

The league started on September 9th, and runs through November 4th (no game on October 14th) for a total of eight weeks of play. It runs from 6 PM to 9 PM weekly on Mondays, with league play starting at 7 PM and a warm-up period from 6 PM to 7 PM. The price is $100 per person.
