With 400 elementary-aged children who attend the Impact Houston Church of Christ summer programs for 6 weeks, week-long summer mission groups play a vital role in the spiritual development of the children at Impact. Every summer Impact hosts around 35 mission groups. Impact’s summer is set-up in a way that utilizes short-term, 5 day mission trips for the long term benefit of both our children and those who come to serve. Christ-centered relationships will be built and Jesus will be taught through singing, VBS-like activities, field trips, and much more.
Netherwood Park has sent an Impact Houston Mission Team (comprised of our teens and their sponsors) to Houston, TX each summer for a number of years.
